Here's how I get ready for International Pajama Day.
First, I try on lots of pajamas.
The red flannel plaid ones with the weiner dog border.
The Bambi pajamas that did late-nite battle with rowdy neighbors.
M-m-m-m-m-m-m. Silk pajamas from Mom.
This Christmas night shirt's a little scary.
Maybe I'll go casual, with a t-shirt/flannel combo.
But only if the t-shirt has an appropriate graphic.
What could you do all day wearin' your pajamas?
Thanks for asking.
You could have breakfast in the kitchen.
Or better yet, Breakfast In Bed.
You could catch up on laundry.
You could read a book.
You could knit and watch a DVD on your computer.
You could dance.
You could cook dinner.
You could wear handmade socks to keep your tootsies warm.
You could add a soft cashmere sweater - ooo la la!
Comfort and lounging should be the priority.
Indulge yourself, you know you want to.
What will you do????
Whatever you do, send me your pajama photos!

This morning I discovered another reason to knit in your pajamas -- you can stick the bobbin of yarn you're working from in one of the pockets! And if you were doing two-colored knitting, you could use both pockets to keep the colors separate... unfortunately, I had to put down the knitting, get dressed, and go to work. (And mercifully, no photos were taken.)
