Return to Berkeley

Well, I'm finally back. It is good to have some space to myself now, and not have to worry about being woken up in the middle of the night on a regular basis. Hooray!

I spent a good part of the day doing laundry and playing Taiko Drum Master.

Namco, you are the greatest. I never thought I would be able to live my dream of banging out the Katamari opening theme on a plastic drum, and you have given me that. I will be forever grateful.

Then later this evening I found an eye patch in the dining room and it was on.

I have often thought about wearing an eye patch while fighting crime or zombies, but now I know that even though it looks cool, it pretty much makes things harder to see. However, it did not affect my taiko drumming. This either confirms my great talent or lack thereof.

so i almost started chanting when i was in high school because i wanted to join the taiko drumming group. turns out my aversion to religion was greater then my infatuation with taiko drums. also, that would've made my mom too happy.
