I did not create a clean slate for 2008. And last night I added to the list of WIPs by casting on another project. Well, who wouldn't after receiving this set of delightful sock needles for Christmas?
I fawned over Pamela's set when we were in Palm Springs. Apparently, Mr. Celia was listening. He's good that way.
Brenda earned a new pair of socks. So I cast the first one on last night. And I will cast on another new WIP on Sunday, because I'm knitting with friends and am not allowed to bring a UFO or a WIP. It has to be new. And I have just the project. I've been dying to knit this in red. I have the yarn, the pattern, and the needles. I've had to actively avoid casting it on. And now I have the opportunity.
Sunday was going to be a Pajama Day. I've been planning on it for a week or so - it's the one day I could stay home and relax in weeks - but I couldn't resist the invitation to knit. So I'm going. In my pajamas. After all, isn't a pajama day supposed to be about what you WANT to do as opposed to what you HAVE to do? Besides I have to get in shape for Super International Pajama Day, which comes in four short weeks, people.
Better start training soon.
