    Progress

The dearth of finished projects and failure to find a lost sock were really getting to me last week, so I picked up a UFO out of the closet and was finished finished so quickly I can't for the life of me figure out why it was set aside in the first place.

Stuck it in the washer on hot the next morning and Voila!

And this morning, while looking for a pair of socks to wear, what to my wondering eyes should appear?

Sock One, which I needed in order to work on:

    Sock2  Sock Two.

General jubilation in the Land of Unraveling.  Now the knitting paralysis can become a distant memory.  I call that progress.

p.s. email appears to be fixed.  Looks like I lost a couple of comments, so please think kindly of me - even if I haven't responded.

Before I saw the "after" shot I thought "That hat's a little big. Maybe that's why she put it aside."

I love that sock. I've been thinking about it since the last time I saw it and wonder if you can tell me the pattern. I owe DH a pair of birthday socks and that looks like something he'd like. No rush, I'm still working on Christmas knitting, too. Bleh.

The hat is marvellous. I think I feel the urge to make one ;-)

Hee hee re: Colleen's comment - I was thinking it was going to be a post on the importance of gauge at first! Hat turned out great!

I think your photo in the hat is one of your best (from my experience) (on your blog). I thinks it's that I can see your eyes so clearly behind your glasses and the hat really calls attention to that part of your face, so I feel more connected to you. Lovely knits, lovely you!
