KnitPic Pix
This week flew by. If I don't sit down now and post these pix another week or two will whizz on by and by then it will be too late.
Last Saturday, the lovely Becca got a bunch of us out to Lake Chabot Regional Park.
I needed some knitting immersion therapy, having knit very little during the past month. Work had been making me crazy and the Fringe performances, fun as they were, gave me little time to recover. The picnic and the pace were exactly what I'd been hoping for. First of all, Miss Idaho decided she was my new best pal. She hopped right up on my lap and stayed there. I couldn't have asked for a better welcome. She has the silkiest fur and she's so teeninsky and darling in her little pink sweater. I wasn't her only friend. Here she is on Jeni's lap:
What a treat!
Even Lala thought so.
It was a pleasure to see Janine out and about.
She's crackin' Elizabeth up. Gets around pretty good with that cart, too.

And Emily brought Tiko, who barked ferociously at Officer Love (sorry, sir).
Frith was there with her babe and hubby.
Rachael and Jeni, spinning. (Miss Idaho loves Rachael, too!)

Note Rachael's stunning footwear.
Knitting and spinning. Deep breaths outdoors. Perfect antidote to the mad whirl I've been living.
Thanks, Becca & Jane. I had a really good time.

I see some beer there, too. Knitting, spinning, and beer: yeah, all good.
