It's Sunday night. I spent most of the last two days in pajamas. I went to Janine's Dulaan Knit-In on Friday evening and had a blast talking to Nathania, Rachael, Bethany, Sylvia, Marge, Wren, Susan, Yvette, Joy, Jewel, Lolly, Rachael, Joanna, & Emily. What a great crowd! Janine was a great hostess.
I put on my pajamas on Friday night at 11:45 p.m. and from then until 2:45 p.m. on Sunday, I didn't take those pink flannels off. I didn't leave the house either. It was an impromptu 39-hour Pajama Day.
Darlings, it was heaven.
I watched 3 DVDs (Secondhand Lions, I Heart Huckabees, and Croupier). Reservoir Dogs was on Bravo, then the Independent Spirit Awards. And today, the Academy Awards. I finished an orange Lucy Bag and felted it. I worked on a scarf and hat for the Dulaan project. I slept. I ate. I didn't leave the house.
Ron went golfing all of Saturday and most of Sunday. I felt a little lonely yesterday but, honestly, it was rather delicious to have the house to myself and not have to go anywhere. I finally took a bath after Ron got back this afternoon and later we walked to Whole Foods together to buy groceries for dinner. M-m-m-m Swordfish, potatoes, brussles sprouts. I haven't been in a car for over forty-eight hours.
Quite restorative. I recommend everyone take next Sunday off and have a Pajama Day with me. Anyone out there able to make it international?
