    International Pajama Day

Literally - world class.  Grace is joining me from Ontario, Canada and actually sent photos of herself in new barrel o' monkeys pajamas:

I, on the other hand, am lounging in new silk pajamas on the west coast:

This is my idea of a perfect day.

I am working on a feather and fan scarf in Kidsilk Haze.

I made two of these last Christmas and gave them away to sisters in law.  I wanted to keep one for myself but selflessly relinquished it in the spirit of Christmas cheer.  I have put off knitting its replacement for too long. So I'm indulging myself in a little personal knitting on this International Pajama Day, thinking about Grace in her cozy monkey pajamas, watching movies, blogging, and catching up on the laundry.  Laundry, after all, can be folded while lounging on an enormous bed...

Today is also  a milestone - my 100th post!  So I'm celebrating by changing the color scheme of the blog.  I hope you like it.

Happy International Pajama Day to all.

    Added Later:

International Pajama Day II, in what I hope will be a monthly cycle, will be February 6, 2005 (Superbowl Sunday).  Please join me!  And send me pics of you lounging in your favorite pjs.  And if you're knitting, then all the better.

    Fab lounging pics !
The blog's new skin is nice.

Wow, I wish I'd known it was International Pajama Day! I'd have joined in for sure!
That kidsilk haze scarf is gorgeous! I have some Anny Blatt kid fine that might be destined for the same type of scarf after seeing how yours is turning out!

And can you really manage to knit lying down? I wish I could master that! For some reason I need to be propped up quite a bit to be able to knit decently. Maybe I just need more practice!

And last but not least, happy 100th!

Does it count if most of my clothing LOOKS like pajamas? And I'm wearing the same thing today that I wore yesterday? The scarf looks fabulous.

Oh, I love it! Those are just fabulous pics! I make a motion that International Pajama Day be celebrated at LEAST once a month; anyone want to second that?

Hey, give us a little warning! I could really get behind this idea...

I'm extremely lucky I know, but almost everyday is pajama day in my house. You guys look very cozy and content!

Catching up, and OH MY GOODNESS, there's my GRACE!
    I adore that lady. Really.
Enjoy your time in your house, and remind us about our pajama day -- I'm in!

I love your scarf! Would you mind sharing what size needles you used? I have been wanting to make a feather and fan scarf, but didn't think of using kidsilk haze. Thanks for the ispiration!
