    Tomorrow is for Knitting

Tonight we baked.  And since Owen ate most of the Chocolate Crinkles (my kids' favorite Christmas cookie) that I baked on Monday, he will be baking another batch tomorrow afternoon so we have them over the holiday.

I have taken Thursday and Friday off from work.  It's a relief to not have to go in and look productive.  Actually, I haven't been very productive for at least the last week.  I've been able to respond to requests and help others with their projects.  It's just that I haven't been pro-active with my own projects.

But tomorrow is for knitting.  I have three movies.  Maybe I'll watch them.  Sitting on the bed and knitting sounds really good to me. I have .5 socks and .75 poncho to knit before 5 p.m. on Saturday.  I also have presents to wrap and a few errands to run and social engagements and family events.  But tomorrow is for knitting.  I will do my best and get as much done as possible before I close my eyes tomorrow night.  If I close my eyes tomorrow night.  As the Harlot says, "Sleep is for cowards."  I'm on the home stretch now.  I can get this done.  And then there will be that glorious time after, when I can knit whatever I want to.  For myself.  Yes, tomorrow is for knitting.  And tonight is for sleeping.  Tonight sleeping is not for cowards.  It's for knitters who want to be incredibly productive tomorrow.   So goodnight.  I wish you a very productive day tomorrow so that you can enjoy the holiday - from Friday right through Monday.
