The Night Before
It's the night before Super International Pajama Day.
I'm at home alone.
Errands all run. No more need to go roam.
The socks are all hung up to dry by the vent.
My spouse and the Boyo done both gone and went.
The mountain of laundry has almost been done.
A pile of pajamas all ready for fun.
The bath has been drawn, it's a beautiful sight.
It's even much better with candles at night.
The weather cooperates - chilly and wet
And this is about as good as it gets.
"Won't you join me?" I say as I slip off to bed.
"You deserve to take time off, relax, clear your head."
Send a photo to share your pajamas with us.
If you can't please don't worry, we won't make a fuss.
For I know you're with me as I drift off to sleep.
In your heart I know you SIP Day will keep.

Happy PJ day! We're all having a lovely time over here, reading books and drinking mimosas. Thanks for spreading the gospel.

I had 'good deeds' to get done this afternoon but stayed in jammies until the very last minute and will slip into them now with a quiet mind and full heart. grace

omg!
so covet everything about your bathing area - the view, the depth of the tub, the surface around for candles, wine and books!
wish i'd read about ipd before Sunday night - I may have skipped church - I'm going to go for an ipd weekend for the next two days instead.
