I loved my International Pajama Day SO much, I did not even get here to blog. I didn't take photos, I just spend the day relaxing.
I was a layabout.
I loved it so much, I'm going to repeat it next weekend, after my family and I trek down to Fresno (and back) for Thanksgiving.
Let's make it a pajama weekend, friends. Saturday or Sunday, November 29 & 30.
Or BOTH days.
Your choice.
I know there's a big holiday looming, but I've gotta have a pajama day or I'm gonna scream.
So, Sunday November 23 I'll be at home all day with movies and knitting and treats. Join me, put your feet up, sit back, and take a deep breath.
I really need this and you probably do, too. Anybody (hey you Canadians!) want to make it truly international?
Midsummer Pajama Day is shaping up to be a two-day event. It looks like I'll be at home alone on July 4th and I plan to take full advantage of the long weekend, spending July 4th and 5th in my pajamas. I really need to stay home, organize my thoughts (and my life) and all that good stuff. Hell, if I'm lucky, I may even be able to never leave the house all weekend. That would be grand.
Join me for Midsummer Pajama Daze July 4 &5 (& maybe 6).
OK, I know technically it's not exactly the middle of summer. That's not until August something. But I am ready NOW! Let's celebrate fire season in California by staying inside (we are advised to do so) and relaxing in our summer pajamas. Hell, I may even make it a pajama weekend. Won't you join me?

WEAR PAJAMAS ALL DAY
You deserve it. I know I do.
It's the night before Super International Pajama Day.
I'm at home alone.
Errands all run. No more need to go roam.
The socks are all hung up to dry by the vent.
My spouse and the Boyo done both gone and went.
The mountain of laundry has almost been done.
A pile of pajamas all ready for fun.
The bath has been drawn, it's a beautiful sight.
It's even much better with candles at night.
The weather cooperates - chilly and wet
And this is about as good as it gets.
"Won't you join me?" I say as I slip off to bed.
"You deserve to take time off, relax, clear your head."
Send a photo to share your pajamas with us.
If you can't please don't worry, we won't make a fuss.
For I know you're with me as I drift off to sleep.
In your heart I know you SIP Day will keep.
Ladies and Gents, the countdown to Super International Pajama Day has begun!
Countdown Tips from last year are here.
Suggestions for what do do in your pajamas are here, here, and here.
Remember, true relaxation takes careful planning. Make sure your family has plenty of notice. Mine will be out of town, thankyouverymuch. And after this last weekend's disaster. I really, really need a Super IPD.
And, please, remember to send me a pajama photo. The Pajama Gallery needs updating.
Won't you join me and spread the word?

Faster than a trip to the chiropractor, more relaxing than a spa, able to calm even the most wound-up person. Look! On the calendar! Is it a party? Is it a date? NO! It's Super International Pajama Day!
You gotta plan for it baby! After the grueling holiday season. The boys will be busy with the football game. Mr. Celia will be out of town. I plan to stay home and relax. Wear pajamas. Do what I want to do. And I hope you will join me.
Mark your calendar today, and stay tuned for tips on how to prepare yourself.
